Rudaki Park in the centre of the town on Rudaki Avenue was opened for public just few days before the SCO summit (27-28 August 2008) hosted by Tajikistan.
On the back drop is the beautiful view of Government Palace if you look from the Rudaki Avenue.
In night the musical fountains liven up the whole park with music and panoramic aqua fountains. The park houses a giant statue of the famous nineth century poet Rudaki circled by these musical dancing fountains.
